Love me some Leo. And obv can't not love Tom Hanks! Amazing. Great movie....and to think that he did it before he was 21!!! Movie was amazing.

Flags of Our Fathers
Since I'm in a US history class I've been watching a lot of WWII movies. I have always known about this picture but never knew the story behind it. I'm glad I watched it. It was a different view of WWII.
Saving Private Ryan
Self-explanatory. Amazing. The ending battle scene was my favorite. My heart was so broken. It really made me think about what happens during war not all your friends make it out. I had this strange tying with Mellish. He just really touched me and then what happened in the end, killed me.

The Last Kiss
This movie was a bit choppy especially since it was in a different language. I didn't know which direction it was heading in half the time. But ended how I expected. It was pretty good nonetheless.
Remember Me, My Love
I've been going back and forth with foreign films. Its always fun to see if there are any differences in their films from american. A lot of the time the 'mother' character feels like she is losing herself in her marriage or in life itself. The same was with this. But it was great to see how to whole family was struggling with their own problems and then with the main problem of the family. It was great. I enjoyed it.
The Kids Are All Right
Absolutely amazing. I had no idea it would be as good as it was. Great story. Loved it.

It was nice to see a movie about a lesbian couple and that it was accepted. It showed a very positive side of a homosexual relationship when negatives are always brought to the surface. It also felt very real. And to show that a homosexual couple can raise children just the same as a heterosexual couple can. That these kids are not fucked up just because they have same sex parents. And I loved that the kids called them 'moms'. Haha.

....It just felt very natural. But I know people will be against it for all of these reasons or disagree for all of these reasons. But this is how I can relate to it. Families struggle no matter who your parents are.
