Who isn't? She just oozes charm. Hm. Maybe I should have chosen a better word than "oozes" huh? ;p What's your favorite Diaz movie? I was personally a big fan of The Mask. That's old school. ;p
amyuhrich@gkruis Not sure if you're asking me or @ludfin, but if you haven't seen it, watch The Fountain. Or if you want to go there, Vanilla Sky. But really, there are so many. I mean, you can't go wrong with Donnie Darko or Fight Club, for example. Run Lola Run, if it counts. I'm gonna stop now :)

Yeah. All good ones. I'm glad you mentioned the Fountain first. I love that movie, but I feel like a lot of people weren't into it. To me it's like a poem where most movies are novels.
amyuhrich@gkruis I hear you. Pretty much everyone I watched it with/recommended it to liked it, except my former roommate, who thought it was totally overwrought (then again, he was judging it from the very beginning, which never makes for a very good experience/takeaway) - but I think that's kind of the point. I mean, it's supposed to over-the-top - we're dealing with 3 parallel realities here. Other people are just confused by it, but it's all there.

& it's all beautifully shot. I definitely liked it better than The Wrestler. I think it was a wonderful movie to make after Requiem, too. The montage at the end of The Fountain was as mind-shatteringly beautiful as the montage at the end of Requiem was so profoundly lurid and sickening.

i saw this movie in theaters when it first came out and i was 13...hahaha. which i completely didnt understand..then i watched it again a couple months ago. wasnt really feeling it. beside the fact that the cast was absolutely fantastic.
Decent show, pretty addicting. I watched the whole first season in a day. Some of the scenarios are kinda ripped off of Boston Legal .. but overall I liked it.
