I never pictured you as much of a video game guy, let alone the DS. It looks like a kids game, but it may have some potential. it'd be interesting to see how complex of solutions the game recognizes.
Scribblenauts is an awesome idea for a game, though I've heard it's not as smooth/difficult as it could be. That said, definitely a game I'd buy if I had a DS.
I haven't played it yet, but it made one of the "Best of 2009" lists, and I figured I'd give it a go. I suck at "normal" video games, but enjoy things like Katamari and Portal.
Have you played Braid? Incredible, incredible game.

wow. I cant believe you guys suck SO BADLY AT THE RULES
You should video record the reaction of the clerk when you try to buy a single jelly bean by weight. With a debit card. :)
I just don't even know what to say to you two anymore!
i effing love this! im now determined! i think ill stop by the dollar tree on my way home

No fare! Most places in Canada have a 3-5 dollar limit when using a credit card... :(
Stay tuned for my next purchase.
I think it should only count if you go to an actual store! That just takes the fun out of it!

IT HAS TO BE A DEBIT CARD PURCHASE. that is one rule for SURE.
no. NO. no!!!! no one beats me until they get the debit card purchase. because seriously a million people have bought itunes/amazon items at $0.99.... wow..... I need to calm down..... hahahha :P
First of all, this is hilarious. Secondly, @cat is right -- to beat her, you have to physically go to a store and hand someone a credit card to pay for a sub $1 item. Sounds easier than it is - last time i tried to buy an apple with my credit card (true story), the lady in line next to me insisted on paying and wouldn't let me. I felt awful -- she looked poor and i was just trying to win a stupid contest on Blippy :(
If I could only get my Bank/Debit Card hooked up, I have had $0.03 cent transactions before =P
=) Can't get my debit card hooked uip.. but my list so far totals $0 (and there are a bunch of 'purchases' =P

Joke gift for a friend's stocking.
suuuuuuure it's a joke
;)
I guess I set myself up for that one. :)
they sound delicious to be honest.
Now if only I could find some Disney Princess mechanical pencils? :)
whoa now! whoa..... you just started following me... it's TOO SOON FOR YOU TO KNOW THIS ABOUT ME....
I just reloaded the page and saw it. I think you're the currect record-holder of the "cheapest thing bought on Blippy" award..
hahahah. I think I definitely hold that record. I'm so proud of myself.
Yeah, I'm on the east coast too right now. So basically, no one stands a chance.
@cat are you sure you picked the right username? something like @fiestycat would be more appropriate :P
I think there should be a weekly and monthly scoreboard for Largest single purchase and lowest single purchase. Perhaps a way to see Total Sum Largest for week/month and sum Total Smallest for week/month. Those could be of course be based on Visa, Amazon, etc. I am shooting to be the Frugalist of the month :)

How did you find this?
Carl Malamud wants people to buy videos that are in the public domain so that he can digitize them and make them available to all. More info: http://www.boingboing.net/2009/12/19/ransom-americas-publ.html
Ahh. At first glance I thought you had blippy linked up to your medical marijuana dispensary.
Huh?

YNFAWYTYLTACS (abbreviated) looks awesome. How'd you hear of it?
A random commenter recommended John Scalzi when I asked for book recommendations: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/good-books-to-read/ and I liked Scalzi so much that I've been doing a floodfill on everything of his.

The short url for this purchase is /t/fit. Coincidence, or best coding ever?
Wow amazing! Just ordered one :-)
We'll have to make sure our scales can tweet each other. :)
made a mahalo page based on this http://www.mahalo.com/withings-wifi-body-scale and i'm ordering it!
Matt, should we have a Twitter account that just rolls up the Tweets from a handful of our Withings scales?
Wow - you bought this! I've been on the fence for a week about this! The iPhone and web apps look shockingly awesome.
I love the idea of the Withings scale, but I've noticed that the consistency is poor. I got differences up to two pounds (!) just by stepping off and back on.

I really really want one of these. Do you like it?
perfect for Chrome OS :-)
looks sweet
It's pretty good, but it sounds like the real Chrome OS hardware will have a full-size keyboard, at least according to the announcements.
This little netbook has worked really well. I can even use it a spare Linux machine to wipe old hard drives..
