I was thinking about seeing this one. Did Heigl and Duhamel have good chemistry?
girlfriday
Oooh. Heigl and Duhamel are a fun couple! I need to Redbox this flick.
amyuhrich
I watched this when I needed a good, silly rom-com. I thought it was cute, sad, and I liked how they gradually transitioned the "I hate yous" to the "I love yous." You should see Ebert's review of this, though, ha - he totally tore into it. It's kind of funny, and true. But I still had fun watching it.
impulsebuyer
I just saw the first one... I loved it! Does this feature the same girl?
misskalelcullen
Yes! But she's not the main character this time. It's sooooo cool. It's a prequel. It explains how things came to be in the first movie.
impulsebuyer
Oh snap I gotta check it out then. Better than the first one?!
jordyn_pieper
It's So Weird How This Documentary Happened Before The First One....lthough This One Came Out After......
Guilty pleasure. Although I think it may lower my IQ a point every episode I watch, I still can't stop for some reason. Haha. But no, it's a pretty good show! Beautiful girls dating meh guys... ahaha :P
impulsebuyer
This sounds like a great guilty pleasure. Is it more of a comedy or a drama?
girlfriday
I've always wanted to check this out. Does one of the teens have a kid or something? Am I even thinking of the right show?
bestfriend
beautiful girls dating meh guys... sounds about standard
charmainiel
come now, ricky is nothing to scoff at.
ashleyandlife
i love abc family...but gosh..i really cant believe this show is STILL ON! the acting is horrific.......................and the script and gootton sooooo boringg! they all just hookup with each other! its soo silly....but ppretty little liars is awesome!!!!
missbieberazzi
oh my gosh! this is such a good show :) i watched the first season in like one day haha not healthy
riddlefish
Aw, man. If there's one thing I can't get past in a movie, it's excessive cheesiness. Which is sad, because I like lots of cheese in other areas of life. Especially brie. :D
fnoo
Yeah, I actually would put Howl amongst the better Miyazaki movies. It's not the most popular one for whatever reason, but to me it felt like a refreshing return to form after Spirited Away. That is to say, it takes some of Miyazaki's typical themes and brings them in new directions entirely -- as opposed to Spirited Away, which sort of dwells in a puddle of Miyazaki's past achievements.
amyuhrich
I loved Howl, but I feel like nobody really brings that one up. I found it highly entertaining. But then, I hear the book is much better. That might have something to do with it.
fnoo
Probably. It's also a weird one in that Miyazaki wasn't the original intended director. Someone else, completely unrelated to Ghibli, pulled out of the project, and it landed in Miyazaki's lap. At this point Miyazaki was theoretically retired. I think he has announced his retirement after every movie from Mononoke on, but he still returned to work specifically for this project that wasn't even his. So, curious cycle here.
rebecca_logan@fnoo i completely agree that howl is one of the better miyazaki films. but i had no idea that he wasnt the intended director.
amyuhrich@fnoo He's attempted to retire that many times? Sounds like a case of not being creative by choice, per sé, but by necessity.
fnoo
Seems that way. I think he has retired four times in the last 15 years or so.
MissFix
what kind of romance is it? opposites attract? best friends? 1 night stand? lol
jordanmccabe
Totally Got Me Hooked on Blippy. Watched your youtube video about this. I do so much shopping online! Thanks Kalel. BTW Great to see that your putting out so many videos lately. Take care.
itsCJD
I was actually thinking of getting this on netflix!
ccherries
Avon has fab gel liner too.. One third the price!
amyuhrich
I also really like E.L.F.'s cream eyeliner - goes on smooth and stays on all day (for $3): http://bit.ly/e65tjr
MissFix
Kalel, how do you get to review make up products here? I linked my bank account but it only shows the total spent on a store, not all the items... did I miss something? LOVE YOU!!! & Support what you said on your last FB post.
white7409@MissFix she has her linked through sephora not her bank account
amyuhrich@MissFix If you use Gmail (recommended), it will pull purchases from your inbox as well if you buy online. And of course you can link other accounts under "Settings." Sephora is easy because even if you buy your items in-store, they will show up on Blippy, as long as you have your account linked.
MissFix
Thanks guys for the replies, I just figured that out.
beverlynoelle
Was your manager anything like the one in the episode?
riddlefish
Lol. Was the manager a man? What happened?? I'm so curious!
jordynlynn
I currently work at Hooters. Our store is nothing like that. I was shocked that the CEO even let them air that episode. I think it made the company look bad!
gkruis
I'm sure if they agree to participate, they've gotta let it air.
marisol_reyes
I liked the first season...but i lost interest midway through the second season...it was just dragging too much and after they escaped it didnt seem right to keep calling it Prison Break since they were already out of prison.
silvia0827
liquid liner does work better if you dont want any smudges.. the tricky part is the application. My favorite has been by physicians formula, its shaped like a pencil and looks like a pencil but its liquid.. the only sad part is they dry up fairly quickly and I can't always find them at target.. i'm beginning to think they got discontinued.
EmilyLWalton
I'll agree w/ the avon glimmersticks...I wear the green one everyday and it really brings out my blue/green eyes(favorite eyeliner for sure)!!
HoneyLub
They're very affordable for sure! i like the variety.. its good if youre not a very oily person..so it wont smudge easily.
riddlefish
Boo...it's sad they don't have a return policy for really really bad buys. :( Have you found a better liner yet?
amyuhrich
I also prefer a liner that doesn't smudge. @silvia0827 They stock Physician's Formula cosmetics at Rite Aid - have you tried looking there for the liner?
NarcissaNarcosis
i want this but it's so expensive. Sometimes I'll just walk around the MAC kiosk and secretly think all those products are mine. *womp womp*
amyuhrich
I've heard some say the exact opposite (that they preferred the MUFE powder over MAC's). Why do you like MAC's Studio Fix better?
marisol_reyes
I was wondering if i should buy this but for the price i want to make sure i try it at the MUFE counter. I heard good reviews but then again i heard good reviews for cheaper alternatives.
luvwithoutlimits
i agreee it wasnt as good as i expected at all but being able to look at ashton made it bearable haha
MizzBlaze@itsMEGAN I hate Katherine Heigl too! Ever since she dissed Knocked Up aka the best movie she's ever been in
itsMEGAN
I read something about how she was a total ass during Grey's Anatomy. How she thought she was the star and she felt like she deserved more attention. And every since then, I just can't stand her.
riddlefish
I heard the same thing about Ms. Heigl. It's really a shame, because I tend to be entertained by her movies...
msangelpixie
I enjoyed the movie. It is a light chick flick, perfect for a rainy day when you have nothing else to do, but sip hot chocolate and lay around on your coach. (lots of shirtless scenes:} aya
amyuhrich
I can't rely on hearsay regarding Katherine Heigl. I gather that she's blunt and somewhat headstrong, which will always annoy people, but from what I've read in interviews I find her quite refreshing.
