This was surprisingly good, though I notice that in the dramatic or emotional moments, nearly every shot seems to linger for several seconds longer than it needs to.

If they had made seasons 2 and 3 about half the length, minus a bunch of the meandering, the show would be nigh-on perfect. As it is, it's got moments of perfection.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
As a geek I figured it was about time I saw the original Star Trek movies. Eventually we need to go back and watch the original series. Hopefully Netflix will have the series availible for instant streaming soon, but until then the movies will have to do. Oh by the way the movie was good.

The A-Team
I was quite surprised at how much fun this movie was. I thought this would end up being a sad rehash of the original. There was an element of that in the movie but it was more of a modern retelling and went into the A-Team's past. Not to mention all the jokes and action in the movie. It won't win any Oscars but it was a rip roaring good time.

Lol. Love Steve Carell. Do you like him more as this type of over-the-top outrageous character, or a normal guy in a weird situation like Date Night or Little Miss Sunshine?

Honestly I think I like him in both types of roles although the work he does on The Office is probably my favorite. The way he plays the "outrageous" character is so much more convincing and lovable then say how Jim Carrie plays outrageous. I'm in radio and I've always said of my work that the genius lies in the details. With Steve Carell I think his genius is not in the outrageousness of his character but in the subtle nuances. He also captivates you with his facial expression.
