The app is actually not called I70, its Big Oven, but by some weird reason it got renamed here... It's a recipe app with roughly 170 K recipes, but with lot's of smart ways to search and filter the content it's easy to navigate your way through it all.
The Photo Cookbook – Quick & Easy App

pixelcollector Haha, good advice! :-) Actually, I started thinking that touch screen devices isn't the best to use in the kitchen, with greasy fingermarks all over them...
Crush It!: Why Now is the Time to Cash in on Your Passion by Gary Vayner...
It's a very easy read, and brings lot of good advice on how to use and succeed with social media. But it is not for advanced user, more like a entry level book, although anyone who like "colorful" language will have a good time reading it.

riddlefish Colorful language, huh? I'm in! How's the rest of the language? Any social media tips? :)
pixelcollector Colorful indeed! Well, there is a lot of tips, very hands on, but as I work with digital and social media all day long, nothing really new, but still some new ways to talk about it with my clients, and thats a good thing!

Yeah, I like his style too! I've been to one of his talks, comes highly recommended! Well, at least it got me thinking about living my passion ;) But I partially do actually, though I have "to many" passions, can't live them all!
Instagram App
This autumns top photo-app! Love it!
gkruis what does it do?
pixelcollector It's a camera with a "closed" social network, eg your photos will stay within the instagram network and you cannot upload them to flickr, facebook, etc, but you can share them via a short link. It's free, so if you'r into photo you'll have to try it out!

NET-A-PORTER Magazine App
One of the best iPad magazines with a built in shop, awesome idea and production
· app from iTunes
gkruis what's the content?
pixelcollector Sorry! It's originally a online shop for mid to high end woman's fashin, but the app is built like a magazine with new content each month (i think). The content itself is your typical womans fashion magazine, but you can of course buy every item in each article directly in the article.
gkruis That's a great concept. Don't have a whole lotta use for women's clothing though.
gkruis How do you like the ipad? I've heard mixed reviews, but I'm always interested in the person-on-the-street view, rather than blogger-techie writer reviews.
pixelcollector I really like it for media consumption. I use it a lot for viewing vimeo/youtube videos, photos, films via Plex (media center for Mac) and off course social media. It starts fast, much faster than flipping up my macbook, and it's great for taking my photos around to friends and family, ok for reading books (I prefer my Kindle for that frankly). The best part is showing it to people that doesn't know what it is or have never heard of the iPad, it never fails to impress them!
gkruis Yeah, it seems like it would be perfect for watching things on it/playing games. A personal TV of sorts. Thanks for that write up, I've been really interested. I'm glad that you commented on Kindle, too, because I feel like I'd rather have a Kindle for reading, but it's not as versatile.
