A friend recently turned me onto Jack3d, which is a pre-work out supplement that helps you to really push yourself during your work outs. Don't get me wrong here, i'm not trying to hulk out or anything, i've just been exhausted lately whenever i go to the gym and thought maybe a little pick me up would be good for my work outs... Anywho, this ish works. I instantly felt a surge of energy and focus which is what this product promises to do. Just be careful if you ever use this stuff, its not the type of product that you'll want to use everyday (i'm sure every day usage would lead to some negative effects.)

After wasting two good years of my life as a Starbucks Barista I swore to myself that I would never waste a penny on their over-priced drinks. Fast-forward three years from the final time that I hung up my green apron for good and what do you know, I'm in Starbucks ordering either:

a) an iced green tea with a splash of strawberry
b) a soy latte
c) a cinnamon dulce mocha.
d) refresh green tea w/ two packets of honey (BEST drink to have when you sense a cold coming on)

Damn you Starbucks for being everywhere and praying on my need for caffeine. If only there were more Peets Coffee/ The Coffee Bean locations around me =\

Before i do a review on this perfume i have to say one thing: I was completely skeptical about this product.

I mean i love hello kitty as much as the next little asian girl, but really a perfume? Initially, it was as appealing to me as a celebritard's perfume, but when i was in Sephora last week i said what the hell and decided to spray some on a tissue instead of my wrist (that way if it smelled like ass i wouldn't be stuck smelling like it for a couple hours.) Anywho, after spraying the scent and smelling it, my eyes got big, my pupils probably dilated a bit and i was in my own little, happy Justine world! I immediately wanted to purchase the product, but to my dismay they were completely sold out. I then proceeded to walk around the store while holding that damn tissue up to my nose, sniffing it and wondering how the hell i could be so unlucky! So once i got home, i jumped onto sephora's website and ordered the largest bottle possible, and look! it has that cute little squeeze puff thingy that old school perfumes have (this only adds to the amazing-ness of the product =P)

As for the perfume, the scent is quite pleasant and uplifting. In my opinion the fragrance has the perfect balance between fruity and floral, thus making it absolutely perfect for spring and summer wear.

If any of you blippyers try it out and love it, kudos to you friend! If it's not your cup of tea, that's cool too, more for me!

I recently came across a pretty sweet deal on livingsocial, for $60 i purchased a 1-hr body wrap, foot massage and also received $20 to spend on products at a local spa and i'm uber excited! Gotta love livingsocial for their amazing local deals.

Took my girls out to beast on some crawfish + crab while we were in Vegas. Hot n Juicy is my go to crawfish restaurant and it's not even in California! The sauce is amazing, the service is quick and the food is DAMN good! If you're ever in Vegas and want to eat some good food that'll put a little fire in your tummy then I HIGHLY recommend that you stop by this restaurant. I promise you, you won't be disappointed!

p.s if you're a big fan of boiling crab, you haven't seen ANYTHING until you've come here!!

The awesome people over at Blick definitely have a vast amount of product knowledge. As a new student to the world of design i was a wee bit clueless as to which supplies were the best and were worth their weight in gold, however, my trusty helper, Justin (it must be fate that we practically share the same name!) held my hand as he guided me into the right direction. Plus, Blick gives a nice little discount to all of their members' purchases which is something i'm very grateful for =)

In exactly one week, I will be workin' this dress in Vegas w/my bff like nobodies business. The dress is short,tight, and fairly scandalous, thus meaning it is absolutely perfect =) Say what you wanna say, and think what you wanna think, but ladies and gentlemen i am damn sure of one thing: I'm about to have the time of my life next weekend (all while being a faithful gf!)

Oh Five Guys, nice try but you are definitely no In-N-Out. Perhaps on the East Coast your mighty hamburgers may be considered amazing, but i'll stick to my 2x2 (or if i'm feeling like a Fatty McFatster 3x3) at In-N-Out thank you. The only thing i honestly feel that Five Guys has over all the other burger joints are their tasty cajun fries.

If any of you blippyers out there are pro-Five Guys i'd love to hear why, because i'm sorry darlin' i just don't really think they're all that special.

Moved back home recently, and my "roommates" bumped me out of my old room while i was away, and gave it to my grandma, so now i've been hell bent on converting our guest bedroom into a place i can call my own. And because i'm a baller on a budget, i had to dismiss cute, antique furniture boutiques, and go with everyone's favorite Swedish furniture store, IKEA. I purchased some new wall lamps, hangers, a vanity mirror and an organizer. The new additions have really added a certain positive feel to my room, plus were pretty inexpensive! Gotta love IKEA <3

Boy oh boy, do i HATE the fucking ajumma that runs Blessed Cleaners (a dry cleaning place 1/2 a mile from my house) Why you ask? Perhaps it's because she's sneers at me every time i come in, no matter how cheerful and polite i am. She's always rude, and seriously has some of the worst aura i've ever come across! I even got into a fight with her once over a shitty alteration job -_-

I DON'T CARE IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB, OR YOUR LIFE YOU OLD DECREPIT CUNT!! Don't take your passive aggressive shit out on me, i just want to get my slacks dry cleaned!!

Okay, no more. I apologize for the excessive profanity and over usage of caps lock! Point is, i don't know you guys, but i BEG you all to NEVER, EVER get your garments cleaned/altered at Blessed Cleaners. Thank you.

Truth be told, I'm really not much of a Macy's shopper, but lets be honest who in their right mind can truthfully pass up a fantastic deal that saved them over $173?? A trip that was initially intended to do a return, yielded two sexy leather knee high boots, that are now resting in their ridiculously large boxes, in my way over-crowded closet. Do I regret spending $204 on boots, yes and no, but seriously my one justification to all of this spending madness is that Christmas is finally over and now I can finally buy myself some shit that I've wanted all along =)

If you've read some of my blippy reviews, or have seen some of my comments to other blippyers, you may already know by now that i am a HUGE fan of NARS makeup products. I specifically love their eyeshadow duos and their blushes, and already have the essential Orgasm + Sin in my collection, but have been on the hunt for a nice coral-y peach blush to add to my repertoir, and found Torrid to fit the bill! High pigment and beautiful color as always, thank you, thank you, NARS for producing such amazing cosmetics!

I am proud to admit that I've recently crossed over to the red side ya'll! I'm not typically a lipstick type of girl, mainly bc i have bee-stung lips and have never wanted to attract too much attention to them. Then recently i saw pictures of a good friend of mine (who has the same skin tone as me) pull off some SMOKIN' HOT- GO GET EM'- I'M GOING TO BREAK YOUR MOTHER F'N HEART RED LIPSTICK on and was finally convinced that i am a big girl now and i too can rock red lipstick. T'was a proud moment for me when i looked in the mirror and fell in love with the red <3

p.s Givenchy's satin lipstick is SO UNBELIEVABLY moisturizing!! i would definitely recommend checking out Givenchy, next time you're looking for a quality lipstick =)

I cannot get enough of The Black Keys track "Tighten Up" right now. The beat and melody remind me of spending an afternoon sitting on the steps of some Victorian styled house, in SF, on a sunny day around 4 pm with a popsicle in hand... yeah it's just that good.

When i'm feeling impatient/eager to watch a new movie and don't feel like dealing with torrents ( damn those viruses + trojans), and can't wait for Netflix to come in the mail, i always roll down to Food Maxx/711 to pick up a redbox rental.

Redbox has new movies that i've always wanted to watch, but not shove out $10.50 (or whatever the going movie ticket price is) for only $1, which is kind of a no brainer for a last minute date night at home. Also, a cool thing about redbox is that they have promo codes! Next time you feel like using Redbox try out promocode: DVDONME to get a free flick on them (free 99 is always good!)

BTW make sure you return your movies back on time, bc i sure as hell did not pay $2.19 for my two bluray rentals -_- I sorta got caught up in all the holiday madness and ended up shoving out $6 due to late charges.. oops! talk about FAIL! oh well $6 is still better than $10.50 right?

As sexy as Macbook pro's are, ever since i bought my 15" in June i've always felt that the look was a bit impersonal. I've been on the hunt for quite some time now to find a way to personalize my laptop, and have finally found JUST what i was looking for! The decals are simple, easy to apply and look oh-so-cute on my macbook =) I really have to thank those creative people over at Etsy for helping me find such a cute design.

After reading a couple of positive reviews from fellow Blippyers about Phytospecific products, i decided to give the brand a try, à la Sephora free samples. This shampoo did an amazing job at soothing my brittle dry ends into soft touchable locks. I'd definitely recommend this to all my fried-end blippy hair fashionistas out there, cause it's like a tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day for your hair =)

Tiki Tom's is an island themed bar filled with live music, yuppies, cougars, and hot hula dancers. The drinks are okay, don't ever order the Tsunami slammer though, as i made the unfortunate mistake of doing that while already intoxicated, and got a mouth full of parsley, or so i thought it tasted like that at the time... iono i was drunk, end of story.

Since the beginning of December it has rained at least 2 days a week in the East Bay, and i started noticing that my right window wiper was not doing as good of a job as it used to. Thank god i replaced them when i did, because the local weatherman just informed me and the rest of my fellow Bay Areans that it'll be raining for the next 5 days straight. Yay for us.. grey skies, wet feet and shitty drivers, just in time for Christmas...
