Pro HDR App
This takes much better HDR pics than the built-in HRD function. It does require that you hold the camera steady for long enough to get two pics.

WIRED Magazine App
This was ok, I wouldn't say it was worth $5
QuickCal Mobile App
This does definitely speed up the process of adding new calendar items.

PayPal App
I was surprised to find that Paypal did a really good job with this app. You can easily pay people and see transactions, and it notifies whenever there is a new transaction (something I'd love to have for my other accounts). There's also a bunch of other functionality including a 'split the bill' feature.

There is the small problem of the security hole that was just announced. But that either was fixed via an update or will be soon.

chrismolnar security hole??? scary.
Nozbe Todo App
I really like Nozbe, they have great GTD-oriented iPhone and iPad apps as well as a great web interface. So it is all sync'd in the cloud all the time. The other options for the Mac plus iOS require local sync'ing over wifi or other weird stuff like that. What's so hard about sync'ing in the cloud people?

TiltShift Generator Free - Fake Miniature App
The one and only program for good TiltShift pics on the iphone.

fnoo Sounds great if you've got an H0-scale train fetish. The world is your very own model!
JotNot Scanner Pro App
This does a very impressive job of creating the equiv of a scanned page from an iphone pic.

Adobe Photoshop Express App
definitely helpful for basic manipulations. and the price is right.

fnoo is this better than bridge?
Plane Finder AR App
This usually can't find the plan I want to identify in its db. I guess this is b/c the db is UK-centric?
Flysmart App
This is pretty useful if you are in one of the airports for which it has maps. Although interface is a bit confusing.

Treasure Island Festival App
They did a good job with this app, but no point in downloading it now that the festival is past.
OpenTable App
It does what you would expect the OpenTable app to do.
GroupMe for iPhone App
Groupme is great for music festivals, bachelor parties, or any other event where you have a number of people who may get separated but want to be able to keep track of where everyone else is.
SCVNGR App
I want to like SCVNGR but I'm still trying to figure out the point. It's different from foursquare how exactly?
iRunner™ App
I am currently using this app with the Digifit Connect and my heart rate monitor and foot pod to track my runs. Tracking heart rate is great and really useful. The previous version of the app wasn't super-stable on the iPhone 4 but they seem to have resolved most of the issues in this version. This is the first version with GPS and the first couple of times I used it I got endless messages about GPS accuracy not being high enough, but now that it is set to use GPS even if it is only accurate to 100 meters, it is fine (and of course it then accurately maps my runs to say a meter).
American Airlines App
Useful if you fly American alot...also has some particularly cool features however such as the interface for taking a picture of where you parked.
Rdio App
I'm a huge fan of rdio overall and their iPhone client is definitely a key part of the experience.
Tap & Track -Calorie, Weight & Exercise Tracker App
This app is the fastest one I've tried for inputting meals for tracking what you eat (also was accurately recommended as such in the iTunes reviews).
