Lexi Elisha - Let's Go
Let Go was the one track she leaked a little sample of before her EP released. I died 5 times in the 1 minute she released of it. I love her voice so much. She's a fantastic singer. You'll change your mind of music from our generation and reconnect with God.

FAVORITE SONG! It's so beautiful and it's all about our savior! :)

Lexi Elisha - By The Lake
Lexi is so talented. I met her when I was going through orientation at my university. She was so down to earth and sweet. I didn't realize she was releasing her EP in the fall with one of the members of Skillet, who is a great christian rock band. She released her second EP with Ben Kasica. I'm not big on this song, but her voice is just so amazing. Definitely look her up. You'll fall in love with God and her (yeah, she's a christian singer!)

Karmin - Crash Your Party
It's kind of a funny story of how I got into Karmin. I saw her "Look At Me Now" cover, and I HATED it. I don't know why. I thought her voice was so obnoxious. I didn't like that she was rapping. That was over 2 years ago or something like that. I started listening to her when I went to college, and now I'm obsessed. I rap with my friends because of Karmin. It's funny. This song is amazing. It's not what Amy and Nick are normally into, but I still love it. It's addicting. :)

FaceTab App
Worst. Thing. Ever. It's not a bad app. It's just bad because I'm addicted to facebook and I'm in college. No homework ever gets done. Teehee :)
Cooking Dash 3: Thrills and Spills App
I'm obsessed. I couldn't resist getting it on my mac :D If you get annoyed playing it on an iPod or phone or something, I like having it on my computer. It just seems more convenient, versus having my iPod to play on.

Hello Kitty Pen Pal Eyeliner Goodnight Dreams
Two words: Holy. Cow.

The appplicator on this is similar to a marker (goes with the pen pal idea hahaha). Even from when I first opened my liner, it came out pigmented and you have great control over it. The tip allows you to create thin and thick lines. It dries fairly quickly. I sat there trying to smudge the swatch on my hand and it took a while for me to finally smudge it. and even then, it wasnt too bad.

I was looking at the tokidoki pens or the Stila one, but settled on this one because of the price ($16... Cheaper than Kat Von D, Stila, same price as tokidoki, but better reviews etc). The reviews didnt lie on Sephora. It was worth every penny. I adore hello kitty.

beverlynoelle That sounds amazing! The tokidoki eyeliners dried up on me, I'll have to try this one!
productjoy adding this to my endless sephora wishlist. thanks for reviewing! i'll definitely have to check this out asap!
sierraxo the palettes looked soooo beautiful when i checked them out in the store. the sweet glosses arent too shabby. the apple balm was horrible! so sticky and messy. but I've never had a pen liner, and i have so much control over this one... definitely was a good first pen liner.
amyuhrich This sounds awesome - if only I had a steadier hand (I feel like I have to use cream/gel eyeliner or I'll just screw it up).
sierraxo @amyuhrich i thought i'd be terrible with it, but i ADORE it. the felt tip is so easy to control. you can see how easy it is in my review of my purchases on youtube :]]
amyuhrich @sierraxo Thanks! I'll check it out. I suck with pen/pencil eyeliner in general - I use a brush to apply mine and even THAT'S been a trial (which is sad...considering I draw...haha).
Hello Kitty Sweet Gloss Goldfish
The packaging is absolutely adorable. It feels like a chapstick, but has the pigmentation of a gloss. They are very sheer, but goldfish is a great nude glossy shade. All the other shades were just as beautiful, but I settled on goldfish. They are quite moisturizing, which is a major bonus for me. All in all, it wasn't too bad of a purchase. It mainly depends on how much color you want on your lips and the texture you prefer. I adored this over the Apple Balm. It smells like strawberries and it isnt sticky. I think i found my new favorite lip product (aside from my MAC pro longwear colour) :]]

amyuhrich You make it sound so pretty! Do you wear it every day?
sierraxo Yes. with a little concealer on my lips to give the color a little more power or just by itself. :D
Sephora to Go App
Worst thing I could do as a Sephora addict: get this app.
It's really handy for shopping and such, but irritating to navigate. It can be a hassle, but it's a decent app.
Textfree with Voice App
It's way different than any other texting app I've tried. Free, and you get your own number. None of the 00000000001 So and So texted you! reply so they can text you yadayada. It lags a little sometimes, but otherwise, it's a good app to have.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Happy Birthday Sephora Collection Beautiful Eyes Kit
The nano eyeliner was somewhat creamy, but had a nice pigment to it. It was pretty shimmery for an eyeliner though, which I thought was a bummer, since I liked the color. The eye shadow is a pigmented frosty white color. oh.my.goodness. can that little color pack a punch. It's crazy pigmented. The mascara seemed a little clumpy, but all in all, it was a nice birthday kit.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Professional Size ($45 Value) 0.85 o...
I LOVE the packaging for the primer potion. It is very sanitary and helps me to get every bit of primer out. The primer itself is great for all shadows. I have very oily lids and my colors stay vibrant all day, they don't crease, and they have a nice true color to them. The primer isn't too sticky or anything. You only need a small amount for your lids, so it should last you for a while. I've been using my primer potion since September and I'm not even half way through the tube. Amazing.

riddlefish Nice! So this is the tube packaging and not the wand packaging, right?
sierraxo Yes. Tube Packaging. I couldn't resist spending a little more money on better packaging and more primer potion. Definitely was worth it.
TEMPTU AIR pod™ Foundation 001 Porcelain
It takes time to get used to airbrush foundation. It's great for doing quick foundation, considering it takes me around 3-4 minutes to do my face, rather than 10. The color matches my skin perfectly. It can spot cover any problem areas. The downfall to this foundation is that it takes your skin a while to adjust and you really have to learn the ropes from the people at Sephora. It is hard to learn on your own, and you will hate it for the first week or two. It's a matter of learning how to apply it in a manner that you like.

amyuhrich This is the first time I've seen this - how does airbrush foundation work?
sierraxo With the Temptu system, its the most basic form of Airbrush makeup. I'm probably going to do a demo video on youtube sometime soon about it and write about it on my blog. but basically, iairbrush foundation is spraying on your foundation. it's easy, it's pretty long lasting. and it's a lot cleaner than normal foundation. If you're still curious, you can look up videos on youtube, or wait for my demo. or talk to someone at sephora.
margarita_terrazas One of the girls at Sephora actually tried this on me. It did look like a challenge. You can't really feel anything being sprayed on. Just feels like a light breeze sort of. Didn't think she was quite familiar with it either though because the blush was uneven lol
sierraxo lol well i posted a video demo on my youtube channel and did a longer review on my blog. i have the links on my page.
amyuhrich Thanks for the info, @sierraxo! I don't wear foundation but I'm curious about this so I'll probably check out your video :)
Urban Decay Vegan Palette
For a small palette, there are a lot of options for looks with only 6 eyeshadows. Minx is a beautiful shimmery teal color. Urb is a soft green with shimmer. Gunmetal is a deep gray with shimmer. Twice Baked is a deep chocolate brown with shimmer. Smog is a coppery brown with shimmer. Half Baked is a golden color with shimmer.

Pros - Great pigmentation, Lots of ideas for a small palette, Sleep and compact, Good for travel

Cons - All shimmery shadows, UDPP that comes with it is shimmery as well, Liner doesn't stay very long and cakes up on outer corner and inner corner.

Palette itself I recommend. The Primer and the liner could be dropped

Cover FX Clearprep FX Matte Foundation Primer and Anti-Acne Treatment 1 oz
It is a great primer that does mattify the skin without affecting your makeup application, like some other primers I have tried. My skin is soft and a great canvas for my foundation and concealer. My acne has not been as bad recently, but I'm not sure if it is because of my face products that I'm using for treatment, or what, but it seems to be assisting in keeping my skin smooth. I can't really speak for the anti-acne treatment. The price is a little steep but it serves its purpose. A little goes a long way. It feels a little thick when you apply it, but it sinks in quickly and provides a nice canvas for foundation. Definitely impressed with Cover FX.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion To Go 1.7 oz Tube
I've been to numerous dermatologists who suggested different moisturizers for me and none of them helped my oily and flaky skin. When I found this, it really was dramatically different on my skin. A little goes a long way, so the To-Go tube is not a bad deal. There is a full size version which would last someone forever. It's soft, sinks into the skin well, and does not seem to react with my skin. It's amazing, and I'm not sure I can live without it now.

Lauren Luke My Smokey Classics and My Glossy LipsComplete Makeup Palette...
It was a beautiful palette that has everything you need for someone who is beginning with makeup. The primers were great, considering there was no creasing throughout the day. The blush was rather pale, but it looked beautiful. The Antique Pewter eyeshadow was extremely unique. It was a beautiful gray/silver shade with brown and purple undertones. The downside to the palette is the Antique Pewter is the only thing that is truly unique about the palette. That was the only reason I bought the palette, which was disappointing. I have enough other makeup that the eyeshadow wasn't the best reason to keep the whole palette if I don't feel like using it. It's a beautiful palette, and I would recommend it to people, but only if they don't have a lot of makeup and want something to play with.

NARS Blush Orgasm
It's a beautiful peachy pink color that is great for lighter skintones. With a swatch, it's really pigmented, but don't be scared of the color in the packaging. It transfers differently on the skin. It gives a nice and subtle flushed appearance to the skin. It has a silky texture and doesn't seem to cake up. The only downside - $26 for blush. Otherwise, I'd recommend this blush to anyone.
