Angry Birds App
Addicting. Simple to get started and (so far) very interesting to watch how it keeps producing small, inventive variations
· $0.99 app from iTunes
Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
Good album, it got a spike of attention by various people I follow on twitter and kept hearing about it, it is an example of how modern music marketing works
· song "Month of May" from iTunes
Shazam App
I don't use this much, but it's perfect. I need a faster app phone tho because by the time I remember to use it, find the app, start it up, and send a sample, a song is almost over.

Evernote App
Evernote is fabulous and essential
Rdio App
Rdio good, nice feature set.
srehorn subscription radio on the internets, pretty deep selection including odd stuff that I had on vinyl thousands of years ago. Fun when you actually want to listen to an old-timey 'album' of songs by one artist instead of the onesy modern style.
riddlefish Oooo, fun! Do they have a good selection of classic 70s rock (Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Queen, etc)?
srehorn the selection of older stuff is surprisingly good-- I haven't looked for the Stones or Queen, but I am a big Pink Floyd fan, and they've got most if not all of catalog, including the Really Psychedelic stuff like "Ummagumma" (sp?). Meddle is one of my favorite records to listen to while working.
Yelp App
Yelp is very useful, especially when traveling.
Dierks Bentley - Up On the Ridge
Dunno, free from Starbucks via the Tuesday giveaway so I haven't heard it. Free counts for something.
· song "Draw Me a Map" from iTunes
Mad Men - The Arrangements
Mad Men is a good show. I like the score.
· $2.99 tv episode "The Arrangements" from iTunes
girlfriday It IS a good score. Nobody else talks about that! Is it avail to purchase?
