Great concept, and I've actually gotten compliments on this one, but it's a really thick shirt which fits pretty loosely (almost the opposite of my favorite shirts, say, American Apparel) so I don't wear this often

These guys were great. No frilly crap, just relaxing atmosphere & a solid massage. They sent a hand written card saying thanks for coming, and if you come back ask for ____, which I thought was pretty cool. Would go back if I hadn't moved

Oggi's not very conveniently located (5m walk from the Harvard Square T stop), and a bit disorganized collecting Groupons (this is actually common at SMBs) but when you get a fresh pizza out of the oven with their gourmet ingredients, it's worth it. Definitely eat it right away

This was pretty cool, though did it for a date, so your mileage may vary. We had about 15 people on our trip, which wasn't crowded at all. The views were amazing, the crew was cool, and if you wanted (like we did) you can help hoist the sails and such along the way. Awesome views of the North Shore from about 100 yards out at sea

If you're looking for process, get The Skillful Huntsman. But he does hit you with TONS of thumbnails at the beginning of each section, which is really impressive. And to be fair, for vehicles, I don't know how much else is out there. Mostly thumbs and finals, so would probably make a good coffee table book too

Ashley Wood is a baller. You don't usually see traditional painting or mixed media styles from concept artists' books. This book is pretty hard to find, but has a really cool mix of "traditional" concept art stuff you'd expect, plus random painted scenes, visceral war shots, gritty textural stuff... just awesome.

Sparth is awesome. He doesn't talk much in this book, just an intro about him from himself and colleagues, then gets out of the way and lets the art do the talking. Good for perusing to get inspired about alternate worlds

Kind of disappointing, lots of repeats from Scott's other books, and not much focus on process, mostly final art. If that's what you're looking for though, and you aren't familiar with Scott's work, this would be a good book to check out

I went on opening weekend: AWESOME restaurant for a fancy date. Steak was great, the hosts were are really friendly, and downstairs is a lounge with house/jazz music & these really cool heatless fire places. Hang out down there before/after dinner

I love GitHub, but I really didn't need to pay for private hosting for my personal site. Was on the fence, but I want to support them, so that pushed me over the edge. Good source hosting though, never had any problems and there's a cool ecosystem of web apps showing up that integrate with it to do cool things.

Heh, if you want to get inspired to start a company, watch this movie and let yourself buy into the plot. It's amazing how motivated I was after I left the theater.

Most fun, addicting game I've played in a long time. GREAT sound work too. And play sessions are only 1-2 mins long! Perfect for commuting, using up a couple minutes

Heh, I use this as a reading light. And you can shift it to red light so your eyes stay adjusted to the dark

I don't usually care about sports/scores, but for the times when you do, this updates scores/brief play-by-plays for all major pro/college games. Great for mobile

Never seems worth it for me to pay $12 for a few hours of internet, since I never have anything urgent I need wifi for. But if you do, or when it's free for the holidays, it's great! Thanks Google :)

Kind of a darker version of their laid back vibe... If you loved How I Got Over, and want a different angle on The Roots, check this one out. I bought this as a gift for someone who loved How I Got Over & wants to hear more
