productjoy what are some cool features of evernote that distinguish it from the average notepad app that comes preloaded on devices?

tommychen first of all, it's a platform so it can be used with many different devices (mac, windows, android, etc.) and and they stay in sync. secondly, it's more powerful than your average note taking app - notes can be recorded, snaped, type, uploaded and much more. Then there's features like OCR, tagging, sharing, and organizing. There so many use-case for evernote, try it and find yours. hope this helps.

fnoo My wife uses this for everything. Every so often she tries to seduce me into using it myself. I think I'm mostly holding out to prove that my will is stronger than hers.

tommychen I've had issue uploading to flickr and posting to twitter. It says it worked but when i got to the destination, images are no where to be found.

tommychen path takes pictures that you can share and limits you to 50 followers. instagram, another popular photo sharing app, does the same thing without the 50 followers limit but you can restrict access to only authorized followers.

riddlefish I don't get it--do you upload pictures to share with people?

tommychen Only photos taken with your iPhone can be uploaded and shared with up-to 50 authorized people.
